What is this course?

The two-day Certified ScrumMaster course will give you a sound understanding of Scrum principles and practices in order that you can:

Our interactive two-day Certified ScrumMaster Class is a great course for anybody who is new to Scrum or applying it within their organisation and covers in-depth the full Scrum Framework, Scrum practices, roles, artefacts and the values and principles that underpin it.  The course also covers many agile practices that support Scrum including User Stories and relative estimation as well as examining strategies for scaling Scrum and working with distributed teams.

Venue:   Radisson Blu Hotel Edinburgh

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Edinburgh City Centre is located in the heart of the historic Royal Mile in Edinburgh’s old town, just a short walk to major city centre attractions. Walk to the iconic Edinburgh Castle, National Museum of Scotland, the Scottish Parliament, and Edinburgh’s famous shopping thoroughfare, Princes street.

Free teas and coffee is provided throughout the day and complementary still water is available in the training room. A healthy cooked lunch is provided in the venue restaurant.

Directions

From Edinburgh Airport

By bus:

Airlink buses leave from the airport regularly, and it’s about a 30-minute ride to the Waverley Bridge stop just 400 meters from the hotel.

By tram:

Take a convenient tram ride to the Princes Street stop, which leaves you a quick 800-metre walk to the hotel.

From Edinburgh Waverley Station

The hotel is a quick 250-meter walk from Edinburgh Waverley, the city’s central railway hub.

From Edinburgh Bus Station

Located by St Andrews Square, Edinburgh Bus Station is the main bus route into the city and is only a 1km walk from the hotel.

Parking

You can park at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Edinburgh City Centre for a fee of £12.50 per night. They have car parking space for 131 vehicles, available on a first come, first served basis.

When approaching the hotel southwards from Princes Street, turn left from North Bridge and continue to the first set of traffic lights. Turn right down St Mary’s Street, then take your first right at the traffic lights onto the Cowgate, and then right up Blackfriars Street.

    Since 2004 Matt has been using his breadth of experience to assist clients apply Agile techniques to projects, programmes and organisations.

    In addition to providing both bespoke and certified Scrum Alliance training courses, Matt spends much of his time working with clients coaching them on a range of topics including; executive personal coaching, relationship & team coaching and helping  teams to improve their delivery success using Agile principles and techniques
