Visualise your ideas and make team collaboration more effective.

Learn basic drawing techniques to build a visual vocabulary that can be used to generate ideas and solve problems with your teams in this highly interactive one-day Visual Thinking and Facilitation course

One day of high quality instruction from Stuart Young , a professional live illustrator and Certified ScrumMaster with a deep-rooted appreciation of Agile Principles. Stuart has harnessed his creative skills to translate concepts and processes into engaging visuals during workshops, events and conferences. Also included are:

Venue:   CCT Venues - Barbican

CCT Venues Barbican is located in the heart of London, next door to Barbican tube and close to hotels and restaurants. There are a good selection of Air BnB properties nearby too.

Free teas and coffee is provided throughout the day and complementary sparkling and still water is availible in the training room. A healthy cooked lunch is provided along with a continental breakfast to start your training off right.

Directions

From Barbican ( Tube) – Less Than 30 Seconds

When exiting the Barbican Tube Station, simply turn right and you’ll find CCT Venues-Barbican in Aldersgate House on the corner, right next door to the Piazza coffee shop.

From Farringdon (British Rail / Tube) – 5 Minutes

Turn left out of the station and carry on to the junction at the end of Cowcross Street. Then, at Barclays Bank, take a left onto Charterhouse Street. Walk along Charterhouse Street to the end of the road, turn right onto Aldersgate Street. CCT Venues-Barbican is thirty seconds down the road next to Barbican Station in Aldersgate House.

From St Paul’s (Tube) – 5 Minutes

Take the exit onto Newgate Street and follow the signs to the Museum of London. Walk past the Museum of London roundabout and up Aldersgate Street until you reach Long Lane. Cross the road and CCT Venues-Barbican is on the left in Aldersgate House, next to Barbican station.

From Paddington Train Station

Take the Circle Line and alight at Barbican, then follow the directions from Barbican station.

From Kings Cross Train Station

Take the Circle, Metropolitan or Hammersmith & City line to Barbican and follow the directions from Barbican station.

From Waterloo Train Station

Take the Northern Line to Embankment. Change to Circle line to Barbican and follow the directions from Barbican station.

From Victoria Station

Take the Victoria line underground to King’s Cross Station. Change at King’s Cross for the Circle, Metropolitan or Hammersmith & City Underground lines to Barbican tube, and follow the directions from Barbican station.

    Stuart is a professional live illustrator with extensive traditional/ Agile Project management experience and a deep-rooted appreciation for Agile Principles and Methodologies. He has harnessed his creative skills to translate concepts and processes into engaging visuals during workshops, events and conferences. With international notoriety within the Agile Community, Stuart has provided his services at various Scrum Alliance Global Gatherings/ Retreats. In addition he has illustrated at an endless list of popular Agile conferences such as the Agile Testing Days in Berlin, the Lean Agile Scotland Conference and the London Lean Kanban event. By combining both creative and analytical skills Stuart contributes to team visioning/ planning workshops and retrospectives by offering captivating visuals that crystallise ideas and learning. When he’s not coaching, delivering training and live illustrating, Stuart is running a number of ‘Innovation through Visualisation’ workshops to support individuals to gain the confidence to draw and collaborate effectively. The newly gained skills assist teams to solve problems and map ideas with the use of graphic metaphors and additional visualisation techniques.
