Our Approach
Discovery
Enterprise agility isn’t created by spinning up agile teams; you need to look at the whole system to become a more nimble and responsive organisation. With complex systems, using an off-the-shelf framework is not a path to agility. Agility is achieved through a deep understanding of your system and the principles, along with the courage to experiment.
So you know you need to change, but...
… do you find it tricky to know where to start and what to focus on?
… are you concerned about changing the wrong things?
… is it difficult to find solutions to your problems?
… is it hard to know what the return on investment will be?
If so, perhaps you’d benefit from a more structured and holistic approach to choosing a starting point.
We use a mix of assessments, fact-finding interviews and workshops with stakeholders to uncover perspectives and challenges in the system as it is now.
We shine a light on:
- Current challenges and likely causes
- Strengths and weaknesses across eight key organisational dynamics
- Perspectives held by different parts of the organisation
- The nature and complexity of the work being undertaken
- Your organisational culture
- Organisational strategy and vision for the future
We do this through the different organisational perspectives of our Enterprise Agility Wheel.
The wheel allows us to share with you a holistic view of your context – things that may be hidden or obscured by the nature of being ‘in the system’. It also removes some of the natural biases that exist in individual perspectives at every level of an organisation.
The Discovery provides a change backlog, highlighting key areas to address in your transformation. For the most important items, we’ll provide options and recommendations for the next steps in your transformation. We will also highlight the potential return on investment of any changes with which you decide to experiment.
So, ask yourself – what would be the impact of change that truly addresses your challenges and allows your organisation to become nimble and responsive?
