Life Coaching

What is life coaching?

Life coaching or personal coaching as its is sometimes referred to is a partnership between a coach and a client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximize their personal and professional potential.  Coaches honour their clients as the experts in their life and work. They believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole, nothing is broken and nothing needs fixing. Standing on this foundation, the coach’s responsibilities are to:

  • Discover, clarify, and align with what the client wants to achieve

  • Encourage client self-discovery

  • Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies

  • Hold the client responsible and accountable.

Life coaching is particularly and increasingly important in today’s uncertain and complex world. It helps clients unlock their potential, build their leadership skills and dramatically improve their outlook on work and life. Our approach to coaching is grounded in models that support personal (life) and executive coaching, as well as Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC) for teams.

Our International Coaching Fedearation (ICF) trained coaches are highly experienced and can help you navigate change in any area of your life, whether that be a change of career, an important goal that you want to achieve or navigating your way out of feeling stuck in a rut.

Some scenarios our clients have come to us with include

“I’m looking for the next step in my career, but I don’t know what I want that to be or how to make the move”

“I’ve just taken over a new project and I really need it to be successful – I’m feeling overwhelmed”

“My life seems to be out of balance and I need to find some clarity on what to devote my time on to re-address the balance”

“I want to grow my business, but I’m unsure whether I have the ability or the right skills to do so”

I am a highly experienced life coach with a track record of helping people transform the way they think and respond to life’s challenges.

For over 30 years I have worked in IT with many major blue chip clients, and for the last 15 years have focused on coaching and training teams and individuals.

My passion and specialism is working with creative people; people who are passionate about their own dreams and desires, those that are willing to challenge themselves to fulfil their life purpose; willing to experiment, and those that not only want to be the best for themselves but through their own passion and work can have a deep impact on others.

I believe that most of us don’t fulfil the potential that lies within us; and my experience has shown me that great coaching has the power to realise that potential and transform our outlook, whatever our background or the kind of work we do.

So whether you want to change direction but can’t seem to make it happen, feel dissatisfied and stuck in a rut, or just need to find a clearer direction I can help you find your way through your own unique circumstances. My coaching has a freshness and energy that makes embracing change not only challenging but also enjoyable and enlightening and I offer you the opportunity that enables you to become the best version of yourself.
